JNoir
Pinot Noir was introduced on the hills of FOCARA around 1810, during the Napoleonic Empire. The cool microclimate of this stretch of north oriented cliff and its calcareous limestone soil were considered by the French administration to be ideal for the cultivation of this elegant variety. The Mancini family has carefully preserved the original clones through five generations of winegrowers, choosing to specialize in the production of fine Pinot Noir wines.
Pinot Noir from the junior vineyards is vinified and bottled separately under the “JNOIR” label.
